Megan was introduced to Ayurveda while living in Santa Monica, California through personal exploration of yoga and traditional healing modalities. Connecting strongly with the wisdom of Ayurvedic medicine, she made the decision to study it formally and was led to the California College of Ayurveda and the American Institute of Vedic Studies. Megan currently holds title as C.A.S. (Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist) and P.K.S. (Pancha Karma Specialist).

A native of Southern California, Megan was born and raised in Arcadia. She spent much of her younger years and adolescence practicing dance, and was most content when participating in any form of individual or collective artistic expression. She went on to achieve her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California of Los Angeles. After graduating, her exploration of the healing arts took on greater focus, eventually leading her to CCA and San Francisco. After taking the Pancha Karma workshop in 2006, she was offered a year long apprenticeship opportunity with Ragaia Belovarac at Blue Sage Ayurveda (BSA).

Since 2006 she has also been involved with the Pancha Karma and Advanced Body Therapy trainings and workshops taught annually at CCA. In addition, she formerly managed and maintained the body therapy program at Blue Sage Sanctuary. She continues to feel more than ever that BSA is an ideal place to undergo such a powerful process. Megan believes that we each hold our own key to health, happiness and well-being. The potential for harmony and balance of body and mind is available to all of us, given the appropriate tools and knowledge. She believes that understanding one’s unique constitution and making conscious choices accordingly is imperative to a long and healthy life. It is Megan’s goal to continue to educate and bring renewed vitality to those seeking the “secrets” behind true health and inner peace through the healing wisdom that is Ayurveda.
